Fabric Suites/Chairs/Curtains
As with carpets, we will first survey your suite/chairs/curtains to determine the best cleaning method for you. Fabric will be checked for dye fastness and shrinkage and then, if suitable, cleaned using the hot water extraction method. On upholstery this includes pre spraying heavily soiled areas (arm/head rests and seats) then working this dirt out with terry towels after which the whole chair is cleaned using the hot water extraction. Curtains are cleaned in situ’ using hot water extraction. Air movers can speed up the drying process.
Where dry cleaning is indicated for upholstery or curtains, hot solvent extraction would be used. (This would be used to clean a tapestry!)
